I wanted to do a more in-depth review of the new Lovense Gush which was released a few days ago. I was lucky enough to get it fairly quickly and wanted to give you my impressions of this toy. Please understand that these are MY impressions of MY use of the toy. Results may vary depending on your use or the impressions of others. I am just one voice in a sea of penis enthusiasts using this toy.

First, I'll explain what this toy is and what it does. If you just want my opinion, go straight on.

The toy comes in a very small and elegant box. It contains the GushThe Gush comes complete with a charging cable, a clamping band and instructions for use. One thing that always bothers me is the amount of packaging that goes into sex toys, but the Gush was pretty minimal.

Operation:

The Gush has a small button to press and hold, and it lights up, very similar to other Lovense products. It has standard low, medium and high vibration settings, as well as a few preset patterns. Usage:

The toy is designed to clamp onto your penis, manipulating it from below. The Gush comes with a strap that you can put on to increase the tightness, but this isn't necessarily necessary. You can either attach the toy and have your hands free, or stroke it yourself. Stroking requires lubricant, however.

Cleaning:

Cleaning the toy is, as expected, quite easy. Simply rinse under water and dry with a towel, and you're done! Very easy compared to other male masturbators.

Vibration power:

It's important to understand that this is an account of how I used it. I'm personally not a very sensitive person down there, so for the vibrations to make me cum fast and hard, it would take a Hitachi level of power to achieve that. If you regularly use hard vibrators on your member, don't expect the vibrations from this toy to knock your socks off. That said, the vibrator's maximum level is very strong for its size and use. It was strong enough for me to get off on combining it with stroking.

Toy Design:

This is where my biggest criticism concerns the Gush itself. The toy has strap ends that hook around to hold onto you. They hold quite well on their own when you're erect, but if you go soft, you may struggle to get a good grip without adjusting it yourself. The toy comes with a band that can be used to tighten it and hold it in place.... ideally. In practice, the band is not very effective in this respect. As the band is separated from the toy, it tends to move and shift around, as it's not tightened in the same way. As a result, the band slips and doesn't have the desired effect. The biggest drawback is that the band can pinch you between the folds if it slips badly. This makes it very unpleasant to use, and after trying it a few times, I can't see myself ever using it again. The band should have been part of the toy itself, and in my opinion, it was a very lazy design choice. It's really no different from a small wristband. Having it as part of the toy would prevent it from slipping and give you a secure, tight grip. I'm able to enjoy the toy without it, but I'd like to be able to make the toy tighter without inconvenience. To have a good experience, I stroke myself with the toy, which is possible thanks to the lubricant.

Is the Lovense Gush compatible with Lovense Remote?

Yes, like all other sex toys from Lovense. The Gush is no exception. It can be controlled remotely via the Lovense Remote application.

Conclusion

This new male sextoy won me over. Its elegant design and powerful vibrations made it easy for me to reach orgasm, which is the goal after all. With the help of lubricant, it glides really well and the sensation is very pleasant!

For men with larger-than-average genders I think it's less suitable, because as said above the strap isn't really optimized, but for «normal» sized genders (of which I'm one ^^) it's just right without the strap.

This is a really unusual type of sextoy on the market and I really like this new design, which is also much easier to clean than the usual sleeves.
