Lovense Max 2 vs Lovense Calor - Review
G’day everyone, it’s Paul :) ! Tonight, I’m keen to do a versus between the Lovense MAX 2 and the Lovense Calor. The now iconic Lovense Max 2, Lovense’s first masturbator revisited, and the Lovense Calor, the compact heating masturbator.

My Take on the Max 2 and Calor
Size and Weight
The first difference you’ll notice straight away is the size. The Lovense Calor is smaller, measuring 16 cm long with 15 cm of insertable length. Whereas the Max 2 measures 24 cm and 8.5 cm in diameter. The Calor is designed to be discreet and portable 😜 I reckon both masturbators have a sleek design, though I do prefer the Calor with its deep black finish – it looks really classy to me.
Texture
The Max 2’s sleeve is textured with plenty of bumps when you run your finger over it. It’s soft and snug. The inside is quite soft but the Calor’s interior is even softer. There’s no texture to the Calor – it’s smooth – but it’s compressible, so you can squeeze the shaft to add extra pressure.
Feel During Use
Right, let’s get into the good bit! The difference during use isn’t massively obvious to me… but I’d lean towards the Max 2! The inside of the Max 2’s vaginal sleeve is genuinely realistic. The sleeve’s textures add sensations of contraction in different spots on your member – really nice – it feels a lot like the sensations you get during actual penetration.
The Calor’s got genuinely soft and pleasant silicone but unlike the Max 2, it’s not textured. The cool thing about the Calor is the heating function. It compresses the head and warms up the entire upper part… I’ve gotta say it delivers a cracking sensation 😊. The Calor is compressible, meaning you can squeeze the shaft and simulate a proper hand job.
The Max 2 goes all-in on full simulation, especially with the option to add a vaginal sleeve. You also get compression and vibration functions on the Max 2.
